Stackon
§ 01Terms

Terms of service.

These terms govern your use of Stackon — the web dashboard, the Mobile companion app, the Stackon MCP server, Stackon CLI, and any related services. By creating an account or installing a client you agree to these terms.

Effective 2026-05-11

The service

Stackon is an agentic developmental environment with first-class observability, evals, multi-agent canvas pipelines, cost governance, and a mobile companion. Powered by Claude and Codex. We may add, change, or remove features. We try to do this without breaking your work; when we have to, we tell you in advance via the changelog or email.

Alpha disclaimer: while we’re in alpha the service is provided as-is. We aim for reliability but cannot guarantee uptime, that traces will be retained, or that any specific feature will reach general availability.

Your account

You must be at least 13 (16 in the EU) to use Stackon. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account — keep your credentials safe. If you spot unauthorized use, email security@stackon.ai immediately.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the service except as expressly permitted by law.
  • Use the service to generate, host, or distribute malware, CSAM, or content that infringes a third party’s rights.
  • Use the service to attack, probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system you don’t own or have explicit permission to test.
  • Resell access to the service without a written agreement with us.
  • Bypass quotas, rate limits, or feature gates through automation.

Adversary and the red-team tooling are for testing systems you own or are authorized to test. Using them against third-party systems without consent violates these terms and likely the law.

Your content

You retain ownership of everything you create with Stackon — your code, traces, canvases, prompts, evals, knowledge sources, and skills. We claim no right to it. You grant us a narrow license to host, transmit, and process your content as needed to deliver the service.

If you publish an agent or canvas on Forge you set the license that governs reuse. Forge listings can be deleted at any time; downstream installations on your customers’ workspaces remain under the license you set when they installed.

Third-party services

Stackon relies on third parties to function — model providers, cloud hosts, payment processors, email and push gateways. Their terms govern the parts of the service they provide. Notable ones include Anthropic, OpenAI, Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, Resend, Expo, and GitHub. We list them in the privacy policy.

Payment & plans

Free is free. Paid plans (Pro / Team / Enterprise) bill on a recurring basis when launched. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not pro-rate refunds for partial periods.

Token / model costs incurred by your agent runs are passed through to your account when you use our keys, or billed directly by your model provider when you use Bring-Your-Own-Key.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from settings or by emailing privacy@stackon.ai. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we have a reasonable basis to believe pose a security risk. If we terminate, we’ll tell you why and give you a reasonable window to export your data.

Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

Agent outputs are non-deterministic. Stackon does not guarantee the correctness, safety, or legality of any code, plan, or artifact an agent produces. Review every diff before applying it; gate critical pipelines on evals and approvals; never deploy unreviewed agent output to production.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, including lost profits or lost data. Our total liability under these terms is capped at the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $100.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes get an email notice and an updated “Effective” date. Continued use after a change means acceptance of the new terms.
