Common questions
What counts as an "agent run"?+
One agent run is one task picked up by a single agent — for example, "refactor this module" or "draft this PR description." Tool calls and child spans inside a run don't count separately.
Do trace events use my model API quota?+
No. Trace records the metadata about your model calls (token counts, latency, IO) on the Stackon side. You bring your own model keys; we never proxy your model traffic unless you opt into BYOK enterprise routing.
Can we self-host?+
Yes — self-hosted distribution is included in the Enterprise plan and arrives in Phase 5. We can co-locate next to your VPC sooner via Local Bridge on Team plans.
Is there a non-profit / academic discount?+
